Summer Chamber Ensemble

Learning Allegro's Chamber Music Summer Program is designed for our intermediate and advanced level string players. While local community and school orchestras are on summer break, we will meet and practice to maintain skills and build technique. Each of our 3 summer sessions, will meet 6 times to work on pieces selected exclusively for that session.

Students performing as part of our Chamber Ensemble will develop the individual skills of sight reading, intonation and rhythm as well as the skills of listening, timing, and following the conductor which are only developed through playing in an ensemble. Playing with a chamber group is an excellent way for string players to practice performing as a group before joining one of the local community symphonies.
