At Learning Allegro, our art classes are more than just messy hands and pretty pictures - they’re an exciting journey into the world of imagination, creativity, and self expression. Our art education program is thoughtfully designed to help children explore a wide range of artistic techniques while having a blast. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or just loves to get creative, they’ll thrive in a welcoming environment filled with color, curiosity, and confidence-building activities.

What to Expect
Art Classes
Thursdays 4:00pm-6:00pm
Children will explore painting, drawing, jewelry making, clay and sculpting, mixed media, and crafting through fun, engaging projects. Seasonal themes and holiday activities - such as pumpkin painting, ornament making, and spring mosaics - give students opportunities to create special keepsakes and gifts. Classes are run by expert instructors, class sizes are kept small, and all supplies are included.

What age groups do you offer art classes for?
Our children's art classes are designed for children ages 5-12 at various skill levels, with age-appropriate projects and instruction to help each child feel successful and inspired.
Does my child need to have previous art experience?
Not at all! Our classes welcome beginners as well as children with previous art experience. We focus on encouraging creativity, building confidence, and developing artistic skills.
What will my child learn in art class?
Children will explore a variety of art techniques, materials, and styles while learning about color, drawing, painting, composition, and creative expression.
What supplies are provided?
Art supplies and materials needed for class are provided unless otherwise noted. We make sure students have the tools they need to participate and create.
What should my child wear to class?
Art can get messy! We recommend comfortable clothing that your child can move in, and that you don't mind getting a little paint or glue on.
Are classes structured, or is there time for creativity?
Our classes provide guidance and instruction while leaving plenty of room for children to make creative choices and express their own ideas.
How do you accommodate different skill levels?
Projects can be adapted to each child's age, experience, and abilities. Our goal is to challenge students while keeping art fun and encouraging.
Will my child bring their artwork home?
Yes! Children typically have artwork to take home so they can share their creations and accomplishments with family and friends. We may save some pieces to display on our art wall at Learning Allegro or at our Art Shows!
How large are the classes?
We keep class sizes manageable so students receive individual attention while still enjoying the social and collaborative experience of creating art with other children. Class sizes will range between 3 and 10 students.
